QASS attended the CAR -Smposium 2017 with a lecture. Under the title “Future Automated Driving – Innovations to lose Control?”, the 17th CAR-Symposium, on the 1st of February, 2017, at the RuhrCongress Bochum, addressed the future of the automotive industry. International industry giants like, for example, Harald Krüger (Chairman at BMW) or Dr Stefan Sommer (Chairman at ZF Friedrichshafen) presented the keynotes. The international CAR-Symposium is one of the biggest industry meetings for the automotive industry in Germany and Europe, with more than 1200 attendees.
Innovation boost of the automotive industry
QASS is happy to have contributed to the CAR-Symposium 2017 in form of a lecture. Employee Sören Barteldes (Process and Application Development) has picked the topic “Application of innovative measuring techniques for qualitative monitoring of deep-drawing and pressure-hardening processes”. At its core the topic is about disruptive technologies in traditional production processes. Disruptive technologies replace existing developments, one example for this is the development: Vinyl record – CD – MP3.
As a trailblazer for cognitive measuring techniques in autonomous processes, QASS is the international expert for the automatic evaluation of processes and the specialist for process analyses, component testing, and machine monitoring. QASS is, furthermore, world market leader in the area of monitoring straightening processes for gear shafts. Many measuring methods can be replaced by QASS measuring systems.
