The journal QZ (Qualität und Zuverlässigkeit [Quality and Reliability]) reports on new process monitoring solutions for wire drawing by QASS: The fully automatic analysis of high-frequency impulses, which are emitted during production, allows a 100% monitoring of the material, the tools, and the machine. Three companies, situated in NRW, are working on a solution for monitoring of 100%: The wire drawing factory Fritz Finkernagel in Altena, the machine producer Ernst Koch in Hemer and QASS.
