QASS is a medium-sized company in Wetter (Ruhr) in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, and world market leader when it comes to crack detection in straightening of gear shifts. Measurement systems of QASS, like the Optimizer4D, enables a qualification of multiple processes:
About 60 people are working at QASS. The company was founded by CEO Ulrich Seuthe in 2001. Sales and service partners are working in China, South Korea, Japan, Mexico and in North and South America.
Quality is an essential requirement to gain benefits on the market. Measurement systems of QASS do not just enable to produce on the highest level of quality – but also to analyze and document processes. Even in processes that were barely not qualifiable so far.
Our experiences with acoustic emission analysis ran into the development of our high frequency impulse measuring technique and resulted in our measuring computer Optimizer4D. The project is still assisted by the Federal Ministry of Economy and Technology. By now multiple Optimizer4D have been put to duty with great success, both in manufacturing and in research. Some of these Optimizer4D monitor manufacturing processes that have been considered impossible to monitor.
